I'll try and find my RCT2 CD, cos if I can't then I'm afraid you'll have to count me out. I'll let you know anyway.

Condemning piracy would be Tom telling nobody in anyway to get a pirate version.

He might be condoning it though, however his views do not represent those of ATA, etc. etc. tongue.gif

Dan, if you've legitimately bought a copy of RCT2 in the past, then surely by anybody's ethical standards you're alright.

I sugest we have a large focal point in this, possibly a large shopping emporium/food court, and lots of trams and stuff going between the plots.

If there's still a space, i'm up for this, i've just started playing RCT2 again over the last week and realised how much better it is than RCT3. Its just so damn addictive, which I really never got from RCT3. So yeah, i won't be able to create quality like eyeamthu1, but i'll give it a shot.

The RCT1 version was split up into 16 sections (4 by 4 on the map).

Ahh, nostalgia

Heya,

If theres any room, count me in! Haven't played RCT2 for a long while so will be interesting to go back again! Is custom scenery allowed? If I ca join then i would love to do a medium sized forest themed area with minor mining parts included. Rides which i would use are:

River Rapids
Powered Mine Train
and some flat rides.

Thanks

Neil

From what I remember, in the RCT1 version, the themed areas were chosen by the creator of the scenario (Alex) and people can then pick which one they'd prefer to do. As for rides, I think it was a case of having free reign as long as:
  1. You don't build too many - RCT1/2's in-built limiter means that if you build loads of rides in your section, someone else might come to do theirs and find they can't
  2. You don't build what others have, so we don't end up with 15 B&M inverters
Custom scenery - this will be a scenario, in which case, it'll be pre-selected by the creator (Alex). I'd imagine he'll try and get bits of lots of different themes so that all areas can look different.
