Hi, i am an indie game developer and i'm here to tell you about a roller coaster game i'm creating.

Here is a screenshot, but i won't go further before i get the go-ahead from an admin, as many boards don't appreciate posts like this. Hope to hear feedback of some kind!

If it's ok and you want to hear/see more, just let me know!

I'm hoping to get it released in the Christmas holidays smile.gif

There will probably be a free version (with a LOT to do) and a 5 expansion which has even more to do (including a level editor/loader so you can technically play more or less infinate levels).

These two videos are a bit outdated but they show the concept of the game (you'll notice the interface, background etc is older than in the screenshots):

B&M Sit Down and Intamin Accelerator Coaster

Just a thought, are there going to be any copyright issues to do with using manufacturers' names? Or are you just going to rename them to something sounding similar?

They will be renamed to 'spoof' company names to save any problems cropping up!

I am willing to turn a blind eye to poor safety regimes as long as they get the theming right. In Six Flags, we get neither.

It's getting there! That Oblivion like picture was taken on low quality so it looks a bit iffy. It's mainly actually making it a game from now on, instead of just a building tool!

Nick the developer of the game now has a full time job and as such his time is taken up by that, but he says he is still working on the game smile.gif
