Frontier are making a new Theme Park building game for Lucas Arts, seems it is being released on the PSP, Xbox and PS2. Check it out here: http://www.lucasarts.com

There are a few screenshots and an annoying trailer, its seems like a substitute RCT3 for console players, I doubt it will have the sucess of it though, maybe a less bugs!

Meh,

Seems its like RCT3, for people who don't have pc's ...

Those games really do only work good for pc, I think the best theme park game engine on PS2 would be " Jurassic Park - Operasion Genesis " No lag, smooth building and easy ..

I don't plan to get " Thrillville " because i have RCT3, but anyone who does get it, post about it here because i'de like to see if it will actuly be good.

* Nods *

sounds like a good game for my psp. Always looking for new games, and it looks quite good as RCT3 does not work vrey smoothly on my computer.

I haven't posted on here for a while...Anyhow, I aquired this game, and have had it for a while now. When I started up the game I thought it was going to be like RCT3, and in a way it is. The problem with the game is, that you are very limited on space when building your rollercoasters in the scenarios, which is a shame. Although, on a plus side to the game has mini-games that you can play, from racing to a nice first person shooting game and many more. Another bad point to the game is that It isn't very long, and I happened to complete the scenarios in about 2 days (Didn't get 100% complete, just finished the scenarios).

Overall, the game is OK, but I would still say the Rollercoaster Tycoon games are better than Thrillville. If you find yourself bored, go out and buy this game to keep you amused for a while.

Good Points:
  • Great Mini-Games
  • OK graphics
Bad Points:
  • To small to build a decent sized Rollercoaster in the Scenarios
  • Unrealistic
  • Repetitive
  • Limited to what track pieces you can do, and limited to changing the settings
I would give this game a 7/10

Regards,
Rollercoasters4Life

[P.S. Hope you all had a good Christmas]

its a great game i have roller coaster world and that uses the old arrow dynamics design principles.

shame you cant make any of the intamin rockets i did make a version of rita qos but it was lacking alil but still 55.93mph is close to the regular launch speed on her

7.5/10

I think the rita qos is a cool launch coaster that has many twists and turns!

The coaster's defy gravity too! dry.gif
