Looks pretty good so far, hope you stick with it! One idea, you start it on the floor and have all the upper bits at table level...and build a table all around it, to simulate the trench feature.

These coaster dynamix models go really fast, is there any way to slow them down and still get around the circuit?

Unfortunately not, unless you did some clever tricks with gravity. You could make a powered version though that didn't rely on gravity, I expect you could then slow it down nicely.

Or maybe just slow the footage down once the train is off the lift.

You'd need a nice hi-speed camera to get half decent slow footage of the model otherwise it would be mega jumpy.

Congrats on getting it all complete!

Now if somebody could build us a shrinking ray so we can go ride the thing. laugh.gif

That thing has got to be doing a scale speed of at least 130mph. blink.gif

hahahaha now a 130mph nemesis would be an interesting ride to say the least lol...

however, disaster strikes!!!!

nah, not really, its actually being moved to a new better location, im in the process of taking over the conservatory for it, more light, space, easier to work with then... so just taking over the dining room for now till i get the last big piece down...

lol, well its no longer on the dining table now, its in its new home, sited and working again, had a few problems once moved which took a while to fix but its all good, its all working... next step will be once i get my shipment of modroc in, it will be completly coverd and attached firmly to the table, no more moving about... then the next main stuff will be working on the brake run back through the turn, corkscrew and to the exit ramp tunnel i think.

rolleyes.gif i know this will probably sound one of the cheekiest posts on the forum but... one of the biggest costs evolved with the model is modroc/artroc depending on the name, its the same thing but, hehehehe, dont hate me to much for asking this but, would it be at all possible for ppl on here to... say... contribute packs of modroc/artroc for the use in nemesis...?

of course this would be a slightly tall order to ask with out some recognition to the contribution which is why for those that feel generous enough to send be it just 1 pack, i will make up a plaque with everyones names on who have helped rolleyes.gif

i know i know, its a long shot but, would be a HUGE help, i mean an even bigger help would be for ppl to actually come take up some of the work on it here, or some how get a hold or make some of the detailly bits like the mushroom bus or other bits like that lol

If you don't ask you don't get, right? smile.gif

Before I jump right in with both feet, may I just ask what exactly artroc/modroc is, and where one gets it, and most importantly, what does it cost per pack?

If it's like a fiver, I'll buy a pack for you. Amazing project, impressive perseverance.
