Those of you with long memories may remember the parade that used to go around the park at about 3:00pm every afternoon, I can remember a couple of the floats. One had a Swan Boat on it and the other had a mock-up of the front of the RMT on it. Can't recall what was on the other floats. Can anyone else?, and what route did the parade follow?.

I think it came out of Ug Land, down past the Hex Entrance and out near the Tuck Shop. Turn left and travel past the X-Sector entrance and down past the Marquee and Adventure Land. Travel across the bottom of Towers Street and back up to Ug Land past the side of the Swan Boats.

the floats had a haunted house, a rapid boat, one had the train as you said, there was a pirate ship, a castle and others i cant think of now

Pfft.. now I see a topic about this.

I've got a video of pretty much the entire parade.. and it was hosted on my webspace.. but i removed it cause nobody was interested in it.

I might look into hosting it again if people ask nicely wink.gif

I have just added a section about the parade to Theme Park Timeline. It includes information on Henry's Birthday/Festival Parades, along with photos of 6 of the 8 floats (including the rapids float which was mentioned earlier).

Most of these floats were also used in the later Tussauds parades, but with extra floats added.
