Was on park yesterday not much was going on except a number of tractors pulling trailers full of soil around the back of the construction site, and a large steel gate has appeared by the Burger King in Cloud Cuckoo Land. smile.gif

I am willing to turn a blind eye to poor safety regimes as long as they get the theming right. In Six Flags, we get neither.

Was on Park Saturday 20th and quite a bit has happened on site now. Yellow pegs and spray paint has been laid marking the course of the track, and holes have been dug in certain areas ready to pour the footers. I have taken some photos ( Dan will email them to you later to put up on here ).... should see some footers being poured this week I would have thought. Also noticed some clearing in the trees to the rear of the area where the ride banks around through the trees.... I also noticed some new wooden fencing going up around the SW6 sign, which looks like they are going to put a higher fence around the site to keep out prying eyes sad.gif

I currently work for the RAC based at Bescot (walsall) Junction 9 of the M6, with my desk next door to the window of the motorway.

Now i see many lorrys pass my window each minute, however you can take this how you want.

A lorry past going north bound at 11:00 was a lorry full which looked like round footers, now before people go saying this that and the other. All i will say is that they were round in shape and circler in size. I cant say the height however it looked like there were about 30 of them i think..

However the lorry went past in seconds..

Precast concrete ring sections? Like those used in manholes all over the place?? I think you may be a little too excited.

They used the same ones for Rita's construction if you think back to 2004.... Good speculating Snake. You'll probably see some track arriving soon or passing soon. I know exactly the postion of the building as i can see it in my minds eye now. You do have a fantastic view of the M6. How far exactly can you see on the cameras btw? Which motoway sections in other words? M1/M6 interchange M5/M6 Interchange?

All i get to see out of my window is the M6 between junction 9 and 8 - the bit where you get into the left lane if heading for the M5... so its the M5/M6 interchange. I dont get to see the nice camera unlike our other staff. Im working on the Vehicle Inspections..

I'd hazard a guess that they'd be for the building - perhaps the switchback / show scene of the indoor section.

How far will that hole go down though?

Station Building perhaps, every time i went back to Ug Land throughout the day it was getting deeper and deeper.

Couldn't really find a place to take decent photos unfortunately, only good places were from Rita's queue and Sky Ride but the sunlight was too much to take good ones from the Sky Ride.

There was also lots of work going on in the woods from what i could see, my camera doesn't have optical zoom to zoom that far, so photos which you could make details out on were not possible sad.gif

Does seem a nice big pit...... *runs around the room screaming with delight!!!!!* Pits.... Nemesis, Oblivion/Air...*gets even bouncier* Deep pit. Steep track section? Hmm maybe not as if they were going to do a full underground section wouldnt they do a full trench dig rather than a steep section. *stops thinking*
