Hi all, hopefully the first post of many and I hope this hasn't previously been discussed, but:

Does anybody else find the general condition and smell of the restraints on Air to be vile? I almost feel like throwing up when you can smell the sweat of thosands of people soaked into something being pushed against you!

Maybe a general clean up of the ride would be nice, such as the restraints, the tunnel area and steps to shop etc.

Must only be a weeks worth of car parking to do at the most smile.gif

I agree.......a good clean of just the restraints wouldn't go amiss.

For information, I was told by a member of staff last season on Air (when I asked about the smell), that the restraints are cleaned every morning and every evening...

I always found that Spinball also stunk despite being constantly cleaned.

Which was odd as Fury never smelled. huh.gif

I imagine they are just wiped over....they need a deep clean, don't know how without destroying the rubber, but I am sure there is a way.

Last time I went (Autumn '09), some of the hand grips were even falling off, and generally in a tatty state, not that I hold on to them anyway!
