There has been a rumour about a new B&M prototype to be built next year, a company which is almost as stagnant as this forum! The only new thing they've released since the flying coaster in 2002 is their new style of hypercoaster car. I think the big dive machines in the Busch parks have been their main achievement of the past five or six years. So this is great news!

The prototype ride we dreamed about last year for Alton Towers look likely to be built in Gardaland next year. So what does everybody think it will be, just a reimagining of 4D rides like X2, or something else?

B&M reimagined the flying roller coaster last time they released a new model. What can they do next year?

And finally does anybody think the new ride for Busch Gardens Tampa could one of these new models too?

If B&M look into developing the stand up now I think they are fools. It has been over 10 years since a stand up was installed - they are not popular and uncomfortable......unless they have developed a new train and tone down the track layout a little.

Standup floorless is one idea left to try. Six Flags Great America look like they'll install Chang there next year, maybe to replace Iron Wolf? Two stand ups in a park would be unique, and it would be a pity to remove the first ever B&M ride.

Its a headstand rollercoaster. Similar to a stand up one, but once in the hardness you are rotated upside down and then the train leaves the station. This saves the parks a fortune as they dont have to spend a fortune on building loops and inversions anymore. tongue.gif

well, thats my 2 pence worth anyway. ha ha ha ha

Haha...

Actually this is the new monkey bar coaster. You grab on to a bar over head and then just hang there. People whos hands look a bit flimsy wont be allowed to ride due to the hand strength required.
