Going up to Blackpool this weekend, been 2 years since I last went and have 3 questions:

1) where is the cheapest place to buy wristbands
2) opening times of the park on Sat 26th June
3) do the wristbands still give you access to watch the show in the evening?

Thanks
Gary

Cheapest I found was on their website, but we used Tesco vouchers, so didn't look very hard!

Opening times from their site 10 till 6 (although the rides probably won't open till 11 as we found out!) - http://www.blackpoolpleasurebeach.com/openingtimes.php

Can't remember seeing anything about the shows included in the wristband, but I still have all the bumf at home, so unless somebody else comes along I will update tonight.

Cheers.

Typical, the time I go up there are no shows on!! If there were they are now extra cost in addition to the wristband, allbeit at a lower price. Pity, the shows are usually pretty good and gettnig them included in the wristband price was a bonus.

Can you recall what rides were out of action?

There is one magic show or something which is included. All the ice shows were cancelled last year and they've bought back Hot Ice to see if it can pay for itself this time around. Before they had the problem of too much of wristband revenues going to the shows.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - it's about time the Thompsons stopped playing with it and just sold the place to Parques Reunidos.
