think this was something that was discussed some time back - good idea in principle but would need to be one hell of a big dome!!!

Sorry but it just seems to Sci Fi. Like a Nuclear Safety Grounds where survivors camp out so they don't get mutated.

that would be cool if alton towers did have a dome; but i think thorpe park already has it covered. But at Alton would be nice. Inside the dome we could see illustrations and artwork of the rides and areas: like Nemesis, Oblivion and Thi13teen on oneside, the other side it could have the runaway mine train, duel/haunted house, toyland tours/charlie/around the world in 80 days, doom and sons and in the middle of the dome it could have a nice artwork of the towers.
