Newly opened on March 31st 2006, is Flamingo Land Crazy, one of the biggest fan sites around for Flamingo Land. After working with Mark Crane from Flamingo Land, this site was going to be the official site for FL, but they rejected saying the site came 2nd in their list. FLC is one of the biggest fan sites for FL around, with more than 125 images of the park online* it truly does give you the most and the best info about the park!

Please take a look and tell me what you think!

Regards,
Alex

i like the fact that more flamingo land websites are cropping up on the internet.

I enjoyed the new park advert (although most of it was filmed more than a year ago). The site is decent but i have to say it does lack a good design.

The borders for your tables are too basic and dont line up on the right hand side. Lack of colour, the heading of the site looks good but the rest just looks too basic to me.

Cant go wrong with the info you have, some good photos and info etc..

I would change the ride information pages. Incorporate them into the main page design and there is too much back ground visible. Try and get more info on there or group everything together.

These are only my opinions, good luck with it.

Thanks Johnster! I think if this site goes ahead (and works well) there will be 2 main FL fan sites! Also, could I ask what Screen Resolution you use? And also, I don't know how to change the tables in Macromedia to a better border!

1152 x 864 screen resolution, not the most common but im used to it now.

There is also flamingo land force and flamingonews websites aswell which will pretty much cover what your website does. In that case you want to do something extra to put your site ahead of the others.

More updates, pictures, info and stuff like music tracks from the park, old park maps etc..not everyone will be interested but some people will find this kinda stuff useful and if your site is the only one to offer such things then thats a bonus.

Some people may have known that the FLC site has been down for a while, as we are upgrading the site. However, the official opening date of the new site is:

May 31st 2006

Johnster, thanks for the tips. We have included some things like Park Music, Virtual Maps etc on our site, which is not on any other Flamingo Land Site. Dont forget, the forums are still open at:

http://www.flamingolandcrazy.co.uk/forum

So the new site is open in 12 days! Please be online when it launches! Thanks!! biggrin.gif

Hey,

Sorry to annoy you again with "Flamingo Land Crazy". I was just wondering if a few people could look around the site (http://www.flamingolandcrazy.co.uk) and state out the good and bad areas of it. Could you please write a quick review that I could use?

Their are currently two main Flamingo Land fan sites. (http://www.flamingolandcrazy.co.uk and http://www.flamingolandforce.co.uk)

You would be doing me a fantastic favour if you could do this.

Kind Regards,
Alex
