OK, not my usual type of post, but here goes...

Woo! I've got a website! It's all pretty!
>>> http://www.gemstuff.co.uk <<<
Everybody look at me! biggrin.gif

(No, doesn't feel right at all.)

So... click here to find my self-indulgent website, complete with photos and other bits and bobs.

Dan did all the technical bits. I like to think I delegated the menial work to him. I just told him I wanted things moving 3mm to the left, and he told me why it was impossible, and I pestered him until he found a way round it, then I decided I liked it better before... you get the idea.

Feel free to sign the guestbook. (I'm going to regret saying that...)

And no, there aren't many rollercoasters on it. smile.gif

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pron surfed, weak and weary,
Over many a strange and spurios pronsite of 'hot XXX galore',
While I clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning,
And my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour.
"Tis not possible!", I muttered, "give me back my free hardcore!"

What a terrible site, the design the content everything was just poor.

lol, nah just kiddin it was kind of interesteing and definately better laid out than some of these free service build your own sites are. I ended up at that site where you rate naked people which was quite amusing and disturbing in the same way.

Overall a good little interesting site you have there Gem.

just to put Dans mind at rest.. yeah I liked the design, good job.

I went through that link. And the first image I got was some guy fully clothed stood next to a computer. Looked very German and very geeky.

Nice site though. The trippy logo at the top is cool.

Babblings should be updated once or twice a week, depending on whether I've actually got anything worth rambling on about.

Photos will be updated... whenever I take some more photos.

New set of photos to be found on Gemstuff. smile.gif

(And as at least three people around here know, babblings have been updated regularly.)

The photos are the ones from our trip to Alton Towers a week ago, but Dan couldn't upload them for me because his webspace was full. I told him to get rid of some of that unnecessary stuff of his, but he seemed to think it was worth keeping... huh.gif

So basically it's all on my webspace now. Which means that every time my internet connection goes wonky (it happens a lot), I will be left screaming at the screen in frustration... Ho hum.

It should still be updated about twice a week. Ish. Hopefully.

Anyway, clicky link in sig. Dan put a whole ten minutes' work into it, so we'd better reassure him all that effort wasn't wasted.

Oh, or for those of you with signatures turned off... click here

Gem Stuff has been banned at Hawarden High School. It's been blocked out of the network, seemingly. sad.gif

Oh well, I might do some work now... maybe.

More new stuff on Gemstuff. smile.gif

I know if people were interested they'd check for new babblings anyway - I've been quite good at updating them fairly regularly so far!

Just thought I'd let you know there are a few pictures to be found not in the Photos section, but as clicky links from Babblings. Just to confuse you. smile.gif

Minor Celebrity Alert!

There's a picture and a short video clip from the charity football match between the lads from work and Mersey TV (Hollyoaks, Brookside, Grange Hill).

Again, clicky link in sig. Or clicky here

By the way, if anyone has trouble playing the video, let me know please. I've never tried to make a video stream before, so if it doesn't work, that's why.

See for yourself the kind of people who work for the Inland Revenue, all getting their hair sprayed red for charity, and be very afraid.

Clicky the links in previous posts, because I'm lazy.

Oh, all right then. Click here.

Tell the truth, Gemma. We all know they're actually getting patches of brown sprayed onto their already day-glo red hair.

Awwwww, those wacky civil service "workers"! Gotta love 'em... wub.gif

Somebody said that I look like a cardboard cut-out in this photo (back row, next to the guy with sunglasses on). I have to say I agree with them.

But what an idea! A cardboard cut-out of me in every office in the country - with the slogan, "work harder, else you'll end up like this!". biggrin.gif

I'm sure Rich would stop having strikes every month and do some real work if they put one in the DWP Wrexham office. tongue.gif

Well...I haven't been on strike for a while now....shame really...oh wait, we're walking out just before Easter due to some crap with the civil service pensions!yay!

Actually, I think I'd go to work even less if I had to look at a cardboard cut out of everyone's favourite mod everyday wink.gif

You see, us lot over at Wrexham Pension Centre (soon to be Wrexham Benefit Processing Centre) do work hard...we just look at porn all day (according to The Sun anyway)

We're on strike too. smile.gif

Wednesday 23rd March.

Methinks the PCS has maybe actually organised something, instead of the usual laughable shambles. We'll see.

It's the day I come back from Paris, but I'm not allowed to take it as leave, because then everyone would take leave so they wouldn't have to come in or lose a day's pay...

The fact that I'll be sitting on a plane doesn't make a difference... dry.gif

Ah well, at least it means Mum's on strike too, so I get a lift back from the airport.

As for the cardboard cutout, it was removed on Health & Safety grounds following a Risk Assessment. Someone had complained that the cheesy grin clashed with all the people with bright red hair. unsure.gif

Haha, PCS organised? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Did you book it before the strike was mentioned? If so, they can't stop you taking it as leave, as technically, you're still on holiday.

If they don't let you, get the union involved...hmmm...that may not work on this occassion...
