Somebody said that I look like a cardboard cut-out in this photo (back row, next to the guy with sunglasses on). I have to say I agree with them.

It's even spookier when you compare it with this photo, taken about a minute earlier - he doesn't move! huh.gif

I was talking to the guy from that pic with the shades on about it today... and he reckoned it'd be a great skiving idea. Just plonk my cardboard cut out inamongst the filing ranges, with a suitable "looking intently at bit of paper" pose, and voila! Off to town for the rest of the day! biggrin.gif

Stop talking to people in work! angry.gif

Stop it! It makes me nervous.

You're allowed to wander around getting ridiculed by my friends, but don't you dare start chatting to people I know. You could be saying anything! unsure.gif

Big huge enormous gigantic major update to Gemstuff! biggrin.gif

It hasn't been updated for about a month because... well, I haven't been at home much in the past month.

And when I have been at home, most of my time has been spent unpacking, washing clothes and repacking. Or deciding which food has gone off.

So there's an entire new page of Babblings - makes more sense read from the bottom entry up. Because otherwise you'll be going backwards in time. Like Doctor Who. Mmm, Christopher Eccleston. *drools...* wub.gif

Ahem. mellow.gif

New photos too. Two new galleries and a clickable or two in the Babblings.

Dan said I should blame him for the delay in getting it updated. Suits me. It's all his fault. happy.gif

OK, so he needed a lot more information from me, like captions and stuff, but I'll still blame him...

YEY! Another update. I keep checking now and again, and it has always been last update, 6th March.
Looks like you had a good time in both Paris and Brecon smile.gif

It went home with John, so you'd be better off asking him...

But I believe it has to remain intact until it's inspected tomorrow, so it might have gone a bit stale by then.

Gem's Cookery Classes Ltd are open to all, I even provide most of the ingredients: flour, butter, eggs & sugar I can do, but chocolate doesn't last long in my house so you'd be better off bringing some. And a bottle of wine. smile.gif

The trick is to get the cooking done before falling asleep on the sofa, wine glass trailing from one hand...

Any takers? smile.gif Please note that I can't guarantee that anything I cook will be edible. The important part is to have fun making it.

As for the smiley explosion - it was late, I was tired, that's probably why I took the lazy method for expressing my feelings about things. I don't know, I can't remember anything that happened more than 24 hours ago. unsure.gif

Another update.

The photos you will have seen before ("borrowed" because my camera didn't take kindly to being sat upon then left in the rain overnight), but I've finally got round to doing a Babbling to cover the last week, and Mum's party - attended by several ATA'ers.

Also covers another chocolate cake made to a deadline, Chester Fair on Friday and a video of John being shameless. Again. smile.gif

Woo, double post!

So naughty. smile.gif

Gemstuff's been updated a couple of times since I last bothered you all with it - a bundle more babblings of course, now with a guide to who's who. See, I do listen to suggestions! Apparently all the names were confusing.

Two more galleries since last time. One trip to Alton Towers (for Dan's birthday) and the Eurovision party last Saturday.

(To be honest, the galleries are the best bit. The babblings are merely a self-indulgent blog.)

Have a gander.
