Does anyone have, or know where I could find videos of Alton Towers Fireworks night.
I wanted the 2000 one; I think that one was based on Hex?
Also the 2002 one, ‘Battle of the Elements’.
But I don't want the 2001 one as a video of that is on the Alton Towers Site, but could someone tell me what the 2001 one was to do with, in the video it has a weird wizard!

Over many a strange and spurios pronsite of 'hot XXX galore',
While I clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning,
And my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour.
"Tis not possible!", I muttered, "give me back my free hardcore!"

smile.gif Well clever me I found it all by myself: http://www.altontowerspark.info/features/d...2002_movie.html
(Battle of the elements) taken by Crispy himself! Was that music composed for Alton Towers? smile.gif

huh.gif Next question: how does the WaterScreen work? There are some sites on the net, but they just talk about how you could use it, and most of the talk is about one where the water falls from nozzles, not about the water spray. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, in the above video at 24sec, see it on its own at 43sec) huh.gif

The music in that clip is the Flash Gordan theme music smile.gif

The waterscreen is quite simple really. They have a fountain in the lake which spurts out a lot of water in fairly fine mist form, then they just project images (or the lazers) onto the water which acts as a screen.

still downloading the vid so i cant see the clip but when i saw fantasmic at disney it used a water spray in a fan shape and the water was compressed to an extent where it wouldn't be clear but more like a coarse mist... so nothing like oblivions, a bit more watery. then of course the video is projected on it and works because the mist is not clear. tho this is from my own basic knowledge... rolleyes.gif

Edit u beat me too it smile.gif

i hope it is cz it'll be really good. i go every year and the best one for me was when they couldn't use the fireworks the previous show and they had to use them all. but i have to say the wizard theme was really crap and i think they could of done a bit better with the theming. biggrin.gif

I didn't see the wizard but the battle of the elements was cheesy.
