I have been on it once, and I remember it being totally different to what all of you are saying huh.gif

All I can remember is a wall that had a big light opposite casting your shadow onto the wall, and then a big camera flash would go off and your shadow would still be left on the wall and after a while it would fade... amazed me back in 97 when I was 9 but would just bore the lot of us now...

I also have an onride pic but the scanner is busted so no laughing for you im afraid tongue.gif , but on it I dont appear to be sitting down on it... they must have changed the content of the ride one closed season...

Nick can't sign into contracts like that due to their obligation to Paramounts parks.

So why was there a barney show at alton towers and universal studios at the same time?
There is also a nick attraction at universal studios (maybe because they own nick?). So i dont see why they couldn’t bring back nick, the removal on nick out of control was a decision taken by the park bosses not nickelodeon because they wanted to move to Paramounts parks. It simply closed due to a very low through put and it was also very complicated gathering all the video clips at the end of the ride and this lead to technical problems most of the time you would have to skip the end of the ride because there was problems. I remember going on the ride in 97 and they said the end part wasn’t working because the ride was new (this was in June).

I thought it didn't exist in 95. Wasn't it built in 97 with Ripsaw?

The ride assistants may not have been lying (I don't think they did it as much back then wink.gif) because the ride did not open at the beginning of the year, it opened "Spring 97" and actually opened quite late, probably because of the technical issues they had while running were problems during installation.

That's because Barney is not a Nick character, and was not included in any exclusivitity contract.

I've got a souvenir photo of my cousin at Outta Control. I'll have a look for it and scan it in.

QUOTE (tiger2000 @ Jul 27 2003, 07:39 PM)
Inside Toyland Tours perimeter corridor there is still some of the old wallpaper and the outline of an old fireplace from Doom & Sons.

I visited AT on Sunday and I managed to get my mates to go on Toyland Tours
just so i could look for this wallpaper. I looked all over yet i didnt see
any sign of this wallpaper or possible fire surround.
Are these fotos ready yet Tiger2000

It was closed due to Nickleodeon ending the contract with AT. Simple as that really.
